The frequent placement of larger amounts of bitcoins on the exchange means that the holders may sell bitcoins, exchange other encrypted currencies, or use the exchange to hide their intentions about the flow of their purpose.

While the relevant incentives are still uncertain, the price of the currency does not appear to have had much negative impact during the period of this massive transfer. Interestingly, last week, when Walter: 1933 related addresses moved to Bitfinex and to Bitcoin, the price of Bitfinex rose by about 7% cumulatively; and on August 11, when Bitfinex and the currency accepted the bitcoin in question, the price of bitcoin rose by almost 5% in two hours.
