5月19日，币圈再度掀起腥风血雨。比特币价格再次跳水，一度跌破37000美元/枚，24小时内最大跌幅达到17%左右。而就在前一天，针对近期虚拟货币价格暴涨暴跌，虚拟货币交易炒作活动反弹的现象，中国互联网金融协会、中国银行业协会、中国支付清算协会联合发公告，提醒投资者防范虚拟货币交易炒作风险。

5月19日，比特币连续第五日下跌，于日内抛售潮中一度跌破40000美元整数关口，目前价格已回归至今年2月初马斯克力推比特币之前的水平，较本月初最高点59543美元缩水超30%。

三协会联合发公告提醒防范虚拟货币交易炒作风险
5月18日晚，中国互联网金融协会、中国银行业协会、中国支付清算协会联合发布公告，明确有关机构不得开展与虚拟货币相关的业务，同时提醒消费者提高风险防范意识，谨防财产和权益损失。 On the evening of 18 May, the Internet Finance Association of China, the Chinese Banking Association and the Chinese Payments Settlement Association issued a joint announcement making it clear that the agencies concerned should not carry out business related to virtual currency, while alerting consumers to risk prevention and to the loss of property and interests. 中国互联网金融协会秘书长陆书春表示，虚拟货币是一种特定的虚拟商品，不由货币当局发行，不具有法偿性与强制性等货币属性，不是真正的货币，不应且不能作为货币在市场上流通使用。 According to the Secretary-General of the Internet Finance Association of China, the virtual currency is a specific virtual commodity that is not issued by monetary authorities, has no monetary attributes, such as legality and compulsoryity, is not a real currency and should not and cannot be used as a currency in the market. 三大协会联合发布公告，适时给所有投资者拉响了警报。投资者应对虚拟货币市场有一个清醒认识，不要被暴富神话所迷惑，不要对通过炒币实现财务自由抱有幻想，更不要盲目听信他人而陷入投资泥潭里。 A joint announcement by the three major associations raised the alarm in due course for all investors.
