导读:为了深入理解数字工程,工业4.0研究院围绕“数字空军”,开展多方位的梳理分析,计划撰写100篇文章,发布在“数字孪生战场”公众号。本文是第23篇文章,分享美军的“太空元宇宙”项目。
目前工业4.0研究院N8加速平台正在推进“战场元宇宙”(Meta Battlefield),因此对相关应用比较感兴趣,其中一个标杆即为“太空元宇宙”,这是美国太空部队计划建设的一套数字孪生战场体系,预计2023年开展验证,2024年正式建设。
At present, the Industrial 4.0 Institute N8 acceleration platform is promoting the Meta Battlefield and is therefore more interested in relevant applications, one of which is the space dollar universe, a digital twin battlefield system planned by the United States Space Force, which is expected to be validated in 2023 and formally built in 2024.

The vision of the United States Space Force for the space dollar universe is as follows:
“融合物理实体和数字孪生体的安全数字环境,通过共享平台、扩展现实工作空间和组织所需的实时操作能力,促进共同创造文化和身临其境的体验,培训和装备人类和非个人实体监护人和合作伙伴。”
“Integrate a secure digital environment for physical entities and digital twines, promote shared cultural and physical experiences, train and equip guardians and partners of human and non-personal entities by sharing platforms, expanding real-time operational capabilities required by real-time work spaces and organizations.”
美国太空部队的太空元宇宙被分为四个方面,分别是数字孪生太空、核心能力、合作伙伴生态系统和守护者文化研讨会,通过这样的方式,太空元宇宙形成了一套完备的建设体系,便于推进落实。
The space metaspace universe of the United States Space Force has been divided into four areas, namely, digital twin space, core capabilities, partner ecosystems and custodian culture seminars, and in this way the space meta-cosmos has developed a complete system of construction to facilitate implementation.
“我的大部分工作都不是考虑当今的技术,”太空元宇宙的负责人表示,“这不是考虑明天的技术,而是跨越式前进并设计太空部队进行太空行动和支持太空作战场景所需的未来技术。”
“Most of my work is not about today's technology”, said the head of the space meta-cosmos, “This is not about tomorrow's technology, but about moving beyond the paradigm and designing the future technology needed by space forces to conduct space operations and support space battle scenes.”

The space metacosystem will contain visual images, hearing stimulation, and immersion experiences of tactile sensors. This integration, integrated data processing will improve the information retention of combatants and say, "Interacts and feedbacks with the environment will improve cognitive outcomes."
具体来讲,太空元宇宙的目标是实现一种互动能力,使太空部队的作战人员和合作伙伴能够共同参与太空行动以及太空战斗场景。
Specifically, the goal of the space meta-cosmos is to achieve an interactive capability that will enable space force fighters and partners to join forces in space operations and space battle scenes.
计划中的数字孪生太空将采用超自动化技术,使用机器人或自动力倍增器,以及用于操作的数字孪生太空平台,逐步实现对太空作战的可信度增长,并建立太空元宇宙的社区工作区。
The planned digital twin space will progressively increase the credibility of the battle against space and create community workspaces for the space meta-cosmos, using ultra-automated technologies, robotics or self-powered multipliers, and digital twin space platforms for operation.

“During the beginning of our space program, almost all of our employees have been working behind the air terminal,” the astronaut cosmopolitan said, “However, we are operating in a new era of old technology, and when I say the old age, I'm actually talking about 20, 30, 40 years of technology. We need to know how to operate and manage space assets more effectively from the ground.”

In the early years of the space dollar universe, more interactive capabilities will be created for the internal operation of space forces and operational command (e.g., space training and operational command, space operations analysis centre and space system command).

The digital twin space environment would be well suited to organizations dealing with training and education, mechanical design, analysis and modelling, development, procurement, dissemination and logistics.

The head of the space dollar universe stressed that, over time, the digital twin space platform would be integrated with academic partners, allies and other trusted government entities.

Security is, of course, the key to the space meta-cosmos, which will be developed into a digital environment that supports all levels of security, from non-confidential to classified, top-secret and above-secret.

Combatants will be able to look at data or spacecraft from all angles, and the astronaut cosmopolitans say, “This is about the dimensions of data, and when we say immersion, it is basically what we call extension reality, it is all dimensions, from 2D to mixed multidimensionality, and the ability to participate in all these dimensions, regardless of the type of method you use.”

Such an integrated world could shape fighters into specialists in more than one field. “Today's technology, we have digital bibliographists to build models,” the head of the office said, “We have digital twinges in space, and then we have operators who want research and simulation to be implemented, and the models constructed by digital bichemists are actually real and can be scaled and run correctly. In the future, we want us to have no three different roles. We want combatants to be digital bibliographists, platforms, and operators.”
太空元宇宙的好处不言而喻,作战人员可以近乎实时地运行数千次模拟,并在几分之一秒内,随着物理和战斗空间数据的进入,通过人工智能能力增强模型来修改模型。“这将产生可能的结果,他们现在可以推动决策制定,并使用数字运营资产立即将该决策推向现实世界。”
The benefits of the space meta-cosmos are self-evident: fighters can run thousands of simulations almost in real time and, in a few seconds, modify models through artificial intelligence enhancement models as physical and combat space data enter. “This will produce possible results, and they can now drive decision-making and use digital operating assets to immediately push that decision to the real world.”
工业4.0研究院N8加速平台近期启动了“战场元宇宙”项目,并于2022年9月16日、24日召开“战场元宇宙”动员会以及交流会,加快推进“战场元宇宙”团队组建以及项目开发。
The Industry 4.0 Institute N8 acceleration platform recently launched the battlefield meta-cosmos project, and on 16 and 24 September 2022 it convened a “basket meta-cosm” mobilization and exchange meeting to accelerate the formation and development of the “basket meta-cosm” team.
