The largest bank in Australia has ruled out the idea of prohibiting customers from buying encrypted currency like bitcoin.

JPMorgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States, and target="_blank" have banned the purchase of encrypted money by credit cards. JPMorgan took effect Saturday, while BoA’s ban (including personal and commercial credit cards) was introduced on Friday. Citigroup has also stopped the purchase of electronic money on credit cards, but confirms that it will “review” its policies as the electronic money market develops.
