目前区块链应用发展，DeFi是众望所归的一个重大方向。DeFi是Decentralized Finance的英文简写，直译是“去中心化金融”，实际是指，建立在区块链网络上的分类去中心化协议，并采用一套具有极端，可访问性和包容性的开放式金融系统。DeFi无需许可准入，金融应用可以不受限制地改造，连接和利用。

DeFi, a short English translation of Decentralized Finance, refers to decentralizing agreements for classification based on a network of blocks and adopting an open financial system that is extreme, accessible and inclusive. DeFi does not need permission to access, financial applications can be adapted, connected and used without restrictions.

DeFi利用智能合约行使传统金融领域的职能，将提高整个金融体系的运行效率，降低金融运行成本。同时打造一个面向全球开放的无国界金融体系结构，以打造开放，透明，安全的去中心化系统。

DeFi’s use of smart contracts to perform functions in the traditional financial sector will increase the efficiency of the financial system as a whole and reduce the cost of financial operations. At the same time, it will create a global open financial architecture without borders to create an open, transparent, and secure decentralized system.

目前，DeFi已经发展出了借贷，去中心化交易所，衍生品，稳定币等多种业务类型，是区块链未来发展的重要方向，也是各大公链争相竞争的赛道。此前大部分DeFi应用项目主要在以太坊进行开发，但是由于性能和手续费的问题，限制了DeFi的发展。火币作为全球领先的区块链企业，也极力推进DeFi市场的发展，推出了公链“Heco”。
