PANews reported on 7 March that according to CoinDesk, the Solana EcodeFi agreement Kamino planned to drop KMNO in April after a snapshot of eligible users on 31 March. Thomas, a contributor to Kamino, stated at the Solana Developer's telephone conference: “The number of points you have will affect the number of tokens you have.” He explained that the agreement will use mechanisms to prevent air-drop farmers from attacking the system with multiple wallets. Kamino is a platform for borrowing and earning profits through various trading strategies in the Solana ecosystem. Last year, it deployed a plan to stimulate users and install airdrops, following the example of Jito and Jupiter.

It is reported that KMNO’s holders will eventually have an impact on Kamino’s incentive plan, revenue expenditure, protocol operation, and risk management as the governance asset for the project from the date of its release. The total supply of the token is 10 billion, 10% of which will be in circulation when it first comes out in April. Kamino states that another 7% of the total supply is earmarked for “initial community distribution”.
