“我們被詐騙了1300萬！”今年6月21日，盧先生和王先生來到四川廣元市利州警方報警。盧先生稱，其朋友求某某聲稱有一批來自外國網民的高配置顯卡（可用來“挖礦”，也就是在虛擬網絡裡面找虛擬幣，也可用來上網打游戲），倒手即可賺千萬，盧、王二人共同出資1300萬購買了這種顯卡。然而，求某某卻失蹤了。6月27日，廣元利州警方在浙江將求某某抓獲。

據介紹，近年來，虛擬貨幣走進人們視野，也讓諸多網民對虛擬貨幣交易的前置環節“挖礦”趨之若鹜。2021年，國家發改委、央行等11部門聯合發布《關於整治虛擬貨幣“挖礦”活動的通知》，虛擬貨幣“挖礦”在國內被全面禁止。

求某某被抓后，面對警方審訊如實交代了自己的犯罪事實。民警介紹，原來的求某某也是一個有志青年，在大學計算機本科畢業后就職於政府單位。但因在平時工作和生活中接觸到一些“挖礦”的朋友，看到朋友都賺了不少錢，求某某心生嫉妒，也被“拉下了水”，辭職走上了“挖礦”之路。

求某某在信息技術上頗有造詣，先后在徐州、安徽開了“挖礦基地”。但同時，他沉溺於賭博、投資理財不能自拔。因還不了欠債，求某某便開始編造投資國外網民的顯卡賺錢的謊言，騙取了全國多地的網民，涉及詐騙金額人民幣5000余萬元。
